Activities
| Archery | Camp Jackson has it's own Archery range. If the group chooses then equipment and an instructor can be provided. Our instructors will start the session by teaching the basics of archery. The group will then get to practice their skills and may have a archery competition if they wish. Alternatively groups are welcome to bring their own equipment and instructors. |

| Riflery | Camp Jackson has it's own Riflery range. If the group chooses then equipment and an instructor can be provided. Our instructors will start the session by teaching the basics of riflery. The group will then get to practice their skills on our .22 rifles, and may have a riflery competition if they wish. Alternatively groups are welcome to bring their own equipment and instructors. |
| Team Building Games | Camp staff can set up a program of group games for your group. These games are fun and have an emphasis on teaching team work, communication and leadership. |
| Low Ropes Course | Camp Jackson has an extensive low ropes course. During a session our staff will take a group through a variety of elements. These elements are all aimed at teaching team work, communication trust and leadership. |
| High Ropes Course | As of Spring 2006 Camp Jackson has a new high ropes course. This course consists of many interlinked elements - all 35 feet off the ground! The course aims to teach team work, communication, trust and leadership. |
| Rock Climbing | Camp Jackson has many climbs which have been bolted for top roping and rappelling on our property. Camp will provide all equipment needed and provide staff to run the session. |
| Hiking | Camp Jackson has access to over 14 miles of established hiking trails, be it a short trip to Crockett waterfalls, a day trip to Jakes Meadow or a strenuous overnight trip up Greenhorn Mountain to 'Outpost'. The trails are well maintained and signposted, however a knowledgeable guide can be provided if requested. |
| Horse Riding | Camp Jackson has a heard of 16 horses. There are several miles of horse trails suitable for beginner rider through to the more experienced rider. We also have an arena which is suitable for the younger first time riders. (Camp Jackson has horses during the summer season, if you are interested in using horses for your group then please contact us with regards to availability.) |
| Canoeing | Camp Jackson has 7 canoes. We use these canoes on Lake Beckwith, this is a 15 minute drive from camp. Lifeguards and instructors will be supplied. |
| Camping | Camp Jackson has several established camping areas. If a group wishes to go camping, equipment (tents, stoves, cooking pans) can be supplied. |
| Camp Fires | Camp Jackson has many camp fire locations which can seat upto 100 people. Camp can provide staff who know more campfire songs than any person should! Our staff are also experts in the fine art of S'more making. |
